Speechless Sunday (almost!): Chess anyone?
A chess lover's Christmas tree decorated in all its finest trimmings! Black and white with a hint of red for the season, whimsical enough for all passersby but serious enough for game players. I'm sure this tree found a home with someone who could appreciate the "Let's play chess" theme. The Jubilee of Trees undoubtedly has something for everyone!
A little history of the Jubilee of Trees Festival...
Since 1981, the Jubilee of Trees has raised more than $2 million dollars for neonatal health-care for babies as well as mothers-to-be and also to fund the Life Flight helicopter at Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George, Utah. For many, this means the difference between life and death.
This year marks the 30th Anniversary of the Jubilee of Trees Festival and honors ongoing treatment at Dixie Regional Medical Center for women with breast cancer.
