How Do You Become an AMBASSADOR on ActiveRAIN ?

Although it does not say so beneath my picture on ActiveRAIN... I consider myself an AMBASSADOR! Whenever I meet new agents, or real estate support people... I ask them if they are members of AR. If not... I explain the many benefits...

THE REFERRAL CONNECTIONS
THE INCREDIBLE RESOURCE OF INFORMATION
THE FRIENDS YOU MAKE AND SUPPORT OF YOUR PEERS

I make sure I send an "invite" to my new contact to join ActiveRAIN... and I usually don't stop talking about how much I gain from joining AR until they take me up on my invitation!

At the last Tom Ferry Summit in Anaheim I spent some time with the AR staff and gave my testimonial to the prospects asking questions at the AR booth.

I don't know how you become an official "AMBASSADOR" on ActiveRAIN... if it is the points, the amount of invitations sent, the interaction with staff...??

But as far as I'm concerned... I already AM an AMBASSADOR!

Hi Kathy, I am looking into this for you. A couple of years ago those that are ambassadors had to submit a request to be an ambassador and then they were dolled out. Not sure if they are still dolling them out or not----seems like I see a new face every now and then. Would not hurt to ask---and regardless you are a great Ambassador.

Kathy, I guess I also consider myself an Ambassador by your definition. I'm always doing the same thing although I haven't invited that many people, but when I do I begin to sound like I'm a salesman for AR.

Let it Rain!

Hi Kathy! By being an Ambassador, we are essentially saying 'this is the way we expect our members to behave and here is someone that you can emulate for your participation on ActiveRain'. An Ambassador will write "how-to" posts for newbies and be willing to answer questions coming from our members. They go the extra mile and all in all are a postive advocate for AR. I believe we will be looking for new Ambassadors on the 'Rain come February.

Kathy, it looks like you are doing all the right things. There are many that don't show respect to other members in the rain that feel they should be ambassadors for all the wrong reasons, you look and act like you know exactly what it is about. I'm predicting we will see that under your name in the near future.
