December Challenge-Day 2. Relax
After leaving church today,I headed to the Borders Bookstore in Capital Boulevard in Largo Maryland. Sundays is supposed to be my day to rest. I haven't done that in a very loooong time. So I decided to do no Real Estate Work today and catch up on my reading. While reading the Billboard Magazine,I stumbled across an article written about Kanye West. The article was about an marketing strategy that he used to promote his new album "My Dark Twisted Fantasy". Cut long story short,he released a track every week on Twitter up until the week he released his new album.
Now I hear that many producers are doing it too. Then it hit me maybe we should do the same thing too as Real Estate Professionals. I mean offer something free on Twitter or Facebook every day or every week to entice and attract potential clients to our Social Media sites. But what is it that you can offer? Haven't thought about it yet. But once I do,I will write a blog about it. Just thought that it was a brilliant idea on Kanye West's part. The tracks that he posted on his Twitter page were VERY GOOD. And he was very CONSISTENT in sticking to his brilliant marketing plan. He didn't just post some silly song. He didn't post a track today and like six months later,post another song. HE WAS CONSISTENT IN HIS PLAN. By the way I heard his album sold over 500,000 copies first week-The Power of Social Media.
