Overall, there has not been a change in numbers for total active Whittier Home and Condo listings, the total remains at 475, just as in last week's snapshot. While active Whittier Home listings increased by 4 (from 422 to 426), active Whittier Condo listings decreased by 4 (from 53 to 49).
Look at Whittier Homes for Sale by Price Range!
Even though there are not many changes, there was a slight shift in percentages between Short Sales and Bank Owned Properties for active Whittier Condo listings, raising the percentage of active Whittier Short Sale Condos from 62% to 68%, and dropping the percentage of active Whittier Bank Owned Condos from 11% to 8%. Overall (homes and condos combined), there were no changes.
Besides the active Whittier Homes and Condo properties listed for sale, there are 112 Whittier Homes and 151 Whittier Condos in Back-Up Offer Status, 13 Whittier Homes and 15 Whittier Condos are Pending Sale.
From December 1 through December 12, 2010, 33 Whittier Properties have closed Escrow - 4 Whittier Condos (ranging from $160,500 to $200,000) and 29 Whittier Homes (ranging from $180,000 to $780,000). Of these 33 sales, 9 properties were Short Sales, 6 were Bank Owned Properties, the rest were Standard Sales. In 2009, within the same time frame, 46 Whittier properties sold.
