Kihei got some heavy rain on Dec. 10th, when a big weather system passed over the islands. Kihei normally gets less than 15 inches of rain per year, with most of that coming down in December and January. Some residents were so excited to see rain that they got up early to take video of the event! You can find that on YouTube.
