Hi Bill:  The days on the market can be very deceiving due to the lengthy processing of Short Sales which are not the norm.   It's not as if the buyer and seller wanted the property to be on the market that long. :)

You’re absolutely right, Jane. Short-sales are skewing the DOM. When I run the numbers excluding short-sales, the average days on market drops from 103 to 87.
