I love congratulating achievers when they hit a notable AR milestone even if I miss the exact moment. This time I am doing the same, but the points here are only a pretext to introduce you a heck of a blogger. Maybe the best political blogger on AR. And, believe me, he is bigger and better than this cliché.

My congratulations to Ted Baker on reaching 200,000 points. Ted Baker - Jon Zolsky BlogTed helped me get on my feet, watching over and commenting, so that I was always regretting that he would throw a comment way better than a blog, instead of just writing another brilliant blog. I even tried to push him into doing it, and he once, only once, did it.

Ted often writes about politics, and he is in the Republican camp. If you hate that camp, do yourself a favor and read Ted Baker. It is not going to hurt you, but you may better understand some of the issues. There is no hate, screaming, or posturing. And his posts are always so well written. He is not going to convert you into a Republican, but you will appreciate that he is an American first and foremost.

He is that rare rainer that I, a recluse, met in person and spent quite some time with. He told me he would come again, but he didn’t. I hope I did not scare him…

What is so special about Ted? Nothing… besides that he is a very clever and well educated man with brains and principles.

Put it all together, in easy to understand car terms, you get Rolls Royce, ladies and gentleman.

Congratulations, Ted.

P.S. Ted, I do not think you have been compared to a car before -LOL.  But I was not talking about the car, it is the reputation…

For the record - Ted often writes blogs on photography which he is one of the best photographers I know - and also on age management which we often try to ignore but are getting their anyway whether we like it or not!

Above all I find you a gentleman. You are the Charles Krauthammer of AR and were a fine consiglere during the Lemming trials.Once you succumb to either Nick or myself and take that giant leap of faith you will be clse to perfect.

Oddly, I need a Supreme Being to support my theories of natural law.  It is organized religion that gives me a problem (somewhat like political parties).  When religion teaches us enough to love instead of enough to hate - we will talk.  For then the world will be close to perfect.  I look forward to the day.
