November 2010 Real Estate Transactions for North Dallas Area 10

Far North Dallas is defined as the area North of I-635 to George Bush Turnpike and from Marsh Road to Coit Road. From November 2009 to November 2010, the number of home sales remained almost unchanged- 52 homes sold in 2009 and 53 homes sold in 2010. Both the median sales price from November 2009 to November 2010 increased from $257,750 to $292,000. Homes sold in November 2010 were on the market for more days than homes sold in November 2009, except for homes above $750,000. Across the board, sales price as a percentage of list price dropped for all homes between 2009 and 2010. More homes in November 2010 sold in the $300,000-$500,000: an increase from 28.8% to 34.0%. More homes sold over $500,000 than in November 2009, from 5.7% of sales to 11.4% of sales.
