According to Data Quick News, Camarillo has seen the effect of the current slow real estate market more than any other city in Ventura County. As of July of 2007, Median home prices in Camarillo had plummeted by almost 20% from the same time last year.

The data below taken, from month of August's home sales in Camarillo, shows that the slow trend in home sales still continues in our city.

Please Note: The Minimum and Maximum Listing prices specify the lowest and highest listed priced homes for an area in this month. Whereas, the Minimum and Maximum Selling prices reveal the lowest and highest priced homes that were actually sold in that area for this month. The data does not indicate that the minimum or maximum listed homes necessarily sold for the amount shown in the above statistics, but indicates what price range of homes were sold for this month. (The homes that sold in this month could have been listed in previous months)

Mana-- Camarillo Heights seems to be the only area where the numbers are slightly better than 2006. Everything else looks to be very slow. Buyers will definitely have a great selection of homes available in Ventura County with all of the inventory. Good Report and Presentation of Marketing Statistics!

Data Quick has some great info and statistics. I miss the info; they don't serve Indiana. :(

Mana, this is another fantastic post for consumers in your area.  It is so important to be familiar with the local market when making a decision to buy or sale.  It is good to have a knowledgeable resource in the area to provide this information.

Hi Mana,

Good to see a true/accurate market update for Ventura County. This should be very helpful to home owners, buyers and sellers.

Mana, you certainly don't want to be a seller chasing the market down if it is dropping by 20% or so a year.  That is when you have got to be in the front of the line!

Stephanie, I actually did it in Microsoft Word. It works if you post to here (AR) but not any other kind of blogs. In Microsoft Word under the option "Table" you should find "Table Autoformat". In there you can find so many different table options. The one above is "Table Web 1".

Rita: I look forward to reading them. If you look in the comment I made to Stephanie, I mentioned how to do the table. Just write it up, copy and past.
