I am launching a new blog site. I have great content relative to our local real estate market. I do not want to monitor responses to my blog posts. In your opinion, will the blog be as successful without allowing visitors to add coments?

Do you mean a new platform (outside of AR). I wasn't sure what you meant but that's what I'm guessing. I am in the process of taking everything out of here and placing it in a Word Press platform. What I did was set it up so no comments can go public until I have been notified and accepted them. I agree with you, I don't want to always be watching for new comments plus then there is always the spam issues... I think it really opens up the line of communications to have visitors have the option to leave a comment, talk to you... I also think it makes the author of the blog seem more approachable... I think if you have a good blog, good content, it will be successful but I also think if you leave the comment section option open, you'll be even more successful! That's my thoughts...
