Me & My Sidekick (Basil) And Our Kodak Moment
Wow, this contest is a really tough one! Sooooo many pictures, soooooo many 'Kodak Moments'...how do I pick just one?!?! I spent many hours looking through old photos that I have in albums, shoeboxes, bags, dresser drawers and on my laptop. After I'd quickly flipped through about 100 photos, I realized that I was missing out on what I was looking at. This was my LIFE that I was flipping through soooo quickly! So, I put everything aside...poured myself a glass of wine...got cozy with a blanket in my favorite chair and SLOWED DOWN the pace. This was my evening ritual for several days and I enjoyed every minute of it!!!
I put all the photos that I thought could be the winning Kodak Moment in a file. Believe me, the file was full! I could not decide. Then I was on my way out the door a couple of days ago AND THERE IT WAS!...On My REFRIGERATOR DOOR!!...MY FAVORITE KODAK MOMENT!!!

This picture was unplanned, unstaged...just a random snapshot that brings me joy! The picture was taken about 5 years ago behind my office. I take my dog to work with me whenever possible and we were leaving the office one afternoon to run some errands. I was getting ready to pull away when one of the agents in my office came out and asked if he could take our picture. I, of course, said yes. I didn't even know what the picture looked like until I got back to the office. The agent had printed the picture and put a copy on my desk. It was the perfect random priceless Kodak Moment.
As I drive around town with my dogs, I watch as people smile when they see the pups in the car. It makes me feel good that we make people smile and possibly add just a little bit of humor to someones day!
