Market Snapshot - Wednesday, December 15, 2010 - from Flagstaff, AZ

By
Industry Observer with Retired from RE/MAX Peak Properties

Ten days before Christmas and the snow has begun in Flagstaff! If this keeps up, we'll have a white Christmas. I spent most of the day in a conference room viewing the updated version of the Certified Distressed Property class that I first took 20 months ago. The good part was that I was doing it with RE/MAX Peak Properties colleagues and we could learn from each other's experiences in this market. On breaks, I worked on an escrow for a buyer of an REO, processed the listing of a short sale and spoke with a new client.

Meanwhile, here's what happened today in Northern Arizona real estate:

Ann, twice as many price reductions than listings.  Lots of motivated sellers there.  Great report.
