
YOU CAN HELP TOO!!!!!
Although, we all live a busy life. We must never forget the lives that we touch along the way. Many Realtors may think that this is just another job. I can assist a customer with BUYING or SELLING their home.
Well, let me tell you that your touching people's lives along the way. Don't just take it for granted.... make the most of your time when you are talking or listening to each client's needs.
Many people are hurting from different experiences when they are in the process of buying or selling a home. i.e If someone is getting a divorce or a couple that is starting a new life. These experiences touch each one differently. We as Realtors are there to help them to make the biggest decision of their life.
Sometimes purchasing or selling a home is very emotional, but sometimes I think we forget the lives that we are touching. A senior who has lived in his or her home for 40 years and have seen many births and weddings taken place at their homes, now has to sell it and move to a facility that will take care of them. Many Realtors may not consider the client, but take a moment and think about your client's needs and help them if possible. Let's be patient and remember that if you plant a good seed it will come back to you again.

We should be there for them every step of the way.. We should consider others and let them now that we are not just their to collect our commission check at the end of a deal. We are there to walk them through the process.
In the process of helping, let us not forget ourselves.We sometimes get caught up in helping others that we forget about ourselves .Then we get hurt when the deal is not completed or we were treated unfairly at the closing table and then we didn't stand up for ourselves, so that we can get a referral.
We do have a life to live and a business to run and we do have a family to support, but always remember that we will get the most once we put others first. Our needs are important, but I believe that once we help others with a true heart that our needs will be taken care of... So to all the Realtors that are busy making money don't forget your neighbors.
When we help others it will build our business.

I agree. I sort of noticed this dealing with other business professionals not directly related in the real estate industry. As Realtors®, we can refer much more business to others than they can probably refer to us. Seeing this made we realize that we can touch so many people on a personal level as well as a professional level. Great post!
