The Frontend is for Your Website Visitors – The Backend Generates Business

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with RealtySoft.com

Over the last ten years it’s become clear that the Internet is the most important venue for real estate marketing.  No, print isn’t dead, nor is television, radio or other media.  And, direct mail still has a place in most real estate marketing plans.  However, the real estate professionals who recognize that the Web is where 90%+ of the population does home buying and selling research, are the ones who are building a secure business future.

It’s great to know that an effective Web presence is necessary, but it’s quite another thing to know what “effective web presence” means and how to make it happen.  Your web marketing initiatives should:

  • Present the agent or brokerage as a local real estate expert (Niche Website)
  • Consist of a website or websites with relevant content of interest to site visitors who want to buy or sell real estate (Content that Sells)
  • Effectively implement SEO - Search Engine Optimization - and SEM - Search Engine Marketing - to attract visitors to the site (SEO Friendly)
  • Keep website visitors engaged and make them return to the site again and again (Fresh + Dynamic  + Customizable Content)
  • Provide what every visitor wants most, a way to search real estate listings (Powerful Map Based IDX/MLS Search)
  • Offer incentives to get the visitor to freely provide their contact information (Call to Actions)
  • Follow up with these prospects regularly in a way that keeps them interested in the company’s services and makes the company/agent top-of-mind when the prospect is ready to take action (Integrated CRM & Print Pieces)

So, an effective Web presence isn’t just a website that gets a lot of traffic (the front end).  Actually, the very creation and structure of a website that gets great traffic is a combination of “backend” functions

Ugh!  A Lot to Ask of a Website
It is a lot to ask.  However, if it’s a necessity, then it should go past asking, it should be delivered. Check out RealtySoft.com today to see how all of these components are integrated into one affordable all-in-one solution for real estate professional OR see the short video below!

I picked up the Pro IDX and am in the process of figuring out some stuff with support.  I'll probably get a RS website next year if all goes well with the IDX product.

Great video that brings real estate agents, brokers, REALTORS up to speed on where they need to be, how to get there. The time is adjusted for the real estate professional now...thinking of taking an hour setting up the look, or editing a video is where some folks bulk, complain and don't, won't do it. A seller and buyer of real estate will find someone that does if you don't. Free enterprise and food chain economics.

Rob -> I would love to see your "call to actions" when you are done :)

Hanna -> Sorry but we don't do any custom development jobs.

Justin -> Welcome aboard. Let me know if I can help you in any way.

Rick -> Let me know if you have any questions.

Andrew -> I couldn't have said it any better. Times have changed and you need to be on top of your game to compete in this day and age! Keep in mind that the next wave of home buyers are 20 - 30 year olds that grew up with the internet, computers and PDAs!

Hi Peyman

I am so glad I saw your blog. What a wake up call...

I agree with Lauren #7.  My sons are 23 and 25, and I sold a home to a young couple they went to school with.  They gave me a referral to the wife's mother. That was wonderful, but I need to get those young homebuyers who  did not even know my sons, and those young homebuyers are on the internet - surfing, and finding what they want...I need some change too...big time.

I am so far behind...

Hello Peyman,

Is IDX included? Do you finitely provide IDX for San Mateo County (MLSListings) or San Francisco? I need a website. Thanks

The simple fact is that the more listings you have on your web site the more visitors you get and the more leads you get. Having listings on you site is BESIDES the integrated IDX search.

Buyers want houses, not agents.

Absolutely true! It still amazes me how many Realtors do not take advantage of the web.  I always like to say the internet is not the way of the future, but the way of today.  The key is learning how to customize your website's content effectively.  It should be interesting to your visitors, but you also need to keep search engines in mind.  A great tool everyone should be using on their sites is Google Analytics which allows you to see how your visitors are browsing your site.  Very powerful.  I am always trying to find new ideas to incorporate into my real estate website in Markham, Ontario.

Karen -> You are 100% on the money! YOUNG BUYERS ARE ONLINE! Now go get them!

Mayra -> Today is your lucky day. MLSListings is coming soon (by the end of February). Contact Travis at 1-866-857-1657 and he will set you up right away!

Frank -> What is the name of your MLS? Please check out our MLS coverage here and let me know if yours is listed or not: http://www.realtysoft.com/solutions-idx-mlscoverage.php

Corinne -> Couldn't have said it any better. Websites are a work in progress!

Gold Team -> The major benefit of RealtySoft Integated IDX is that it puts all the MLS listings on your website. Therefore search engines see it as part of your site.

Martin -> Google Analytics is an amazing tool. Our solution is 100% compatible with Google Analytics and integration takes just a few minutes.
