The Future For Successful Agents

By
Real Estate Agent with Illustrated Properties

If you are a full time agent and treat your job like a business, and if you are not up to speed with technology, now is the time during these slow weeks to pick up some tax deductions and learn new technology.

Being mobile will be critical going forward.  Since 70% of our clients are totally mobile we need to make sure we are caught up.  That means everything from smart phones, to iPads, e-signatures, netbooks and more need to be not only aquired but learned.  A quote from R.H. Grant reads "When you use tools that are smarter than you are, you prove that you are smarter than they are."

Beyond the single agent, teams or agents with assistants may need to re-assign tasks or replace personel based on their ability to handle assignments as it relates to technology. So take advantage of a couple of slow business weeks and get moving!  I am!!

I love statistics and also love how we, in our industry, use them.  70% of our clients use internet and cell phones?  I bet there is far more than that.  NAR has said that more than 85% of all searches begin on the internet.

That being said, you are so right about needing to be up to speed with all things internet and technology.  You don't have to use every single tool, but you should know about them.  Putting your head in the sand just gets you no view and sandy hair.
