This is interesting, but not completely true. In the state of Texas we are required to give consumers Information about Brokerage Services, so yes, in Texas we do state what side we are representing by law. I think portions of this video are very good, but not completely accurate. Thank you so much for sharing.

Edit to say: I also think many of us whether representing the buyer or seller consider ourselves consumer advocates or something of the like and go above and beyond to give our clients the absolute best service possible. Again, thanks, I like positive information about Realtors.

The same is true in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. There is mandatory agency disclosure, although many agents confuse mandatory with voluntary.
