Arlington National Cemetery Wreaths Across America is a touching Christmas traditionthat was started in 1992 by Morrill Worcester the founder of Worcester Wreath Co.

Wreaths Across America is Remembering our Veterans, Honoring their families and Teaching the children, this is a wonderful group. Please take a moment and watch the video below in this post.

The Worcester Wreath Company does not cut down any trees to make the wreaths. The Balsam tree's branches are trimmed every 3 years in order to allow them to regrow. This is a solid American business with a big heart, if you are looking for a beautiful wreath this season I suggest checking out the Worcester Wreath Company website or you can even sponsor one of the wreaths and Pay it forward..

Thank you to Morrill Wocester, Wocester Wreath Company, all of the many volunteers who helped make this wonderful tradition happen again this year. Thank you to our Veterans and their families who have served to keep us free and safe, we sincerely appreciate you and your sacrifices. Merry Christmas!

I am ashamed to say, I live within 45 minutes from Arlington on a non-traffic day and have not been to Arlington Cemetery at Christmas. I must get there. A friend says it's something to see. :) Gail

Juli: I agree. A great Company and a moving tribute to our service members.

David; Arlington, and other similar places, are very moving and yet peaceful and beautiful. I know how great this country is when I am in such a place. And I have friends and family there.

Steve ~ Many, many years ago I lived across the street from the Arlington National Cemetery in an apartment with 2 girlfriends. I was fresh out of high school and working for The Department of The Navy. I was awakened by a 21-gun salute -- it was the day the flame was lit for President Kennedy's Grave.

Talk about awe-inspiring -- words will never express those feelings. To see the wreaths at Christmas is another one of those moments which will take away your breath and leave you speechless. Most remarkable and most fitting.

Tish; Thank you for sharing that experience with us. It seems like you have had your eyes and your heart open to lifes events, and your vivid retelling of those events is a gift I always enjoy. My memories of the events of 1963 is still very strong, but I don't know when the flame was lit. When did this happen?
