Under the new ownership of Jutta and Glen Jealouse, the centre has undergone renovations, including footing for two arenas. Made of Soiltex, a blend of pure silica and a synthetic material imported from Germany, the new materials compact without getting hard, which gives the rider a great experience. Sun Meadows currently has two riding rings, with plans to add more in the future.
Sun Meadows has also added a lounge so you can enjoy the beauty of the area while meeting others who have the same love of horses as you.
A riding school is also available at Sun Meadows. They also have two riding instructors plus two guest instructors and offer lessons featuring ten horses on site. The Jealouses want to develop the facility that will serve their new neighbors in horse country.
Sun Meadows is building a new website - sunmeadowsequestriancentre.ca - that should be launched sometime this month. In the future, the site will announce upcoming events, but the centre hosted the Sun Meadows Christmas Performance and Party on December 12th.
