31 Days of December Challenge – Days 17 and 18

This challenge is about doing something every single day to help build business for 2011. For me, that’s easy. I always do something real estate related. So, documenting it was and is the challenging part. But, just as this challenge is about the health of our 2011 business, it’s important that we are physically healthy in order to be the best that we can be.

I do a lot of exercise, but I usually have to confine it to Friday, Saturday, and Sunday because of my work schedule (although sometimes I can throw in one workout Monday thru Thursday). So, just like every other Friday and Saturday, I have already done my workout. I feel that it energizes me.

Yesterday, I took care of a lot of errands—many of which were business related. I also prepared the third annual Short Sale Expeditor® holiday video that will come via email with the weekly short sale newsletter this coming Tuesday. I spoke with a few clients and sent out my weekly status emails for some of our more challenging short sales.

Today is my writing day. I’ve written my columns (due Tuesday) for both Agent Genius and Bigger Pockets, and I’ve also posted a few other posts (including this one) as well. I’m hoping to complete the Tuesday newsletter before I’m off to a holiday party at a friend’s home.

We’re in the midst of a big rainstorm here in San Diego County today. So if holiday shopping was going to be hectic, it’s probably worse due to the rain. I know; I know. No pity party for me. Many of you live in areas that are a lot colder and facing much worse winter challenges.

Happy Saturday!

Melssia: Your off to a great start for 2011. You do somuch in one day and then have time to attend a party at your friend's house. You have to tell me how you do it?

Hi Melissa.  I have found that getting up at 5am to work out is the only time I will actually do it.  So I drag myself out of bed of 5am mon, wed, & fri morinings and head to the gym with 2 of my friends.  It was really hard at first, but now that I'm used to it I'm awake early every day.  I think I'm going to add tues mornigs as well.  Good luck w/your workouts and with your business in 2011.
