Motivational Power Quote
Live a Life of Positive Attraction
"He is a wise man who des not grieve
for the things which he has not,
but rejoices for those which he has."
Epictetus
As I see it. . . . . . . .
Live a life of positive attraction
Be thankful for your blessings.
Be thankful for the opportunities that you have been presented with and for what you have accomplished.
Be thankful for the people in your life and the joy they being to you and into your life.
Focus on your goals and as you achieve them be thankful for what they being into your life.
Being thankful focuses you on the positive things in your lives. When you're focusing your thoughts on being thankful, you are focusing on the people that matter most to you, your accomplishments and what you contribute to others.
A person that thankful has very little time in their lives for negative influences. They remain focused on the positive influences in their lives and concentrate on the positive aspects of their lives.
Be thankful for your blessing and you will find that your life will become a life of positive attraction.

Lou, I agree! I FIRMLY believe in positive affirmations. They work for me...I see my success and it just happens, all the way down to finding a great parking spot, lol. True story!

Lou - thanks for all the motivational quotes. We all need to be grateful for what we have, even if it is much less than others.
Good words of wisdom.
Hi Lou,
Ancient wisdom.
The Bible says, Philippians 4:4 "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 ...in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Thanks!
I always enjoy reading your posts.

Yes, and no. It's not so much greiving for what we dont' have but seeing in our mind's view what we could have. However, I see the point, I know the context. It's better to enjoy life today, as we don't know what tomorrow brings, so to speak. :) Gail
Grear post. Build on what you have to reach for those things you have not yet accomplished. Be positive in your ability to achieve and not negative about what you have yet to achieve.
I need to get back to posting gratitude each day.

I believe, so far, living a life of positive attraction has helped me.
One should be thankful for what one has.
Lou,
A very simple premise that more of us should follow. Thanks for the reminder, especially during this season.

Lou, It is too early in the day to try and pronounce the authors name, but it is a good one! Thanks!
Oh how I have missed your motivational quotes! I have to start logging in on here again!! Thank you!!!
That is a good Quote. Here is what I have to say for it:
"If a man were to grieve for what he does not have, he will live a life of grief"
-Brandon DeVere
It may not be the best but the quote you posted made so much sense to me when I put it in these words. Thank you.
