They say life changes when you have a child, I now know what everyone is talking about

I just wanted to share my GOOD NEWS! My wife and I are having our first child, after nearly 11 years of marriage we figured it was about time we started to settle down at least a little.

People say life really changes when you have a child and even though Jamie is not due until March 1st I sure do see and feel the changes, my whole routine has been altered, no more going out to the wee hours of the morning on the weekends, no more just booking a last minute trip next week for Key West. It's time to adjust and it sure has started to change.

Let everyone says life really changes they also say it's the greatest thing so I look forward to that.

Congrats on the pregnancy! My wife and I just had out first in April! It was, and is the greatest accomplishment of my life! I wish you well!!

Congrats. #2 is due for us in March. #1 was a serious life changing event. And a great (and a scary) change it has been.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the kind words. Things sure are changing, I guess there will be a period of adjustment but I think we can manage it.

Congrats to you & your Wifey, Leo! You will find that although your life will be altered for awhile, it is the most rewarding and precious gift that can ever receive in life. Think you ever fell in love? Just wait, there is no love greater than the love you feel for your child/ren. Hold on to your seat belt, you're in for a ride. Sit back and enjoy every single detail, as time goes by soooo freakin' fast. Today you are waiting for the birth of your first baby...with a blink of an eye he/she will be all grown up. Take it from a MOM that knows!

Leo, much congratulations on the new addition upcoming. Boy does life change a bunch. It seems like only yesterday we had our 2 year old and 5 month old. Life changes a lot, but only for the better. Blessings come in such small packages.

My wife and I are expecting our first as well and her due date is around the end of November! I will give you the best piece of advice that I have received so far!

"When you buy something for them that requires assembly, pay the extra $25 and it will save you lots of heartache in the end."

I already did ths with the crib that we bought for her and let me tell you, it would have taken me a weekend to put this thing together, but the delivery men pulled out their drill and got it done within 15 minutes!
