This weekend was a great one for me.  I got to spend time with my nephew.  The only child I can spoil.

Then there were some negative actions from strangers.  We went to do a little shopping in Cedar Hill and at one dept. store there was yelling back and forth from two customers.  We only caught one side of it but that was not a pleasant situation to be around.

Later that evening we went to Arlington.  I couldn't believe my ears when someone decided to have a foul mouth.  Luckily my nephew did not hear.  I ignored it and we went on our way.

But what really disturbed me was the vehicle accident that happened on the corner of our street.  Drivers like to speed in a 35 mph and sometimes the crossing traffic gets caught it in.

The male driver went crazy I think.  He was the one speeding, he hit the other car and thought it was okay to start cursing up a storm.  The elderly woman of the other vehicle was scared.  I went out there to lend a helping hand.  I think since I showed up he could no longer be verbally abusive to this woman.  It took almost two hrs for the police to arrive.  There was no one injured luckily so it took longer for them to show.  I tried to give the crazy man the woman's insurance but he did not want to take it.  He wanted to wait for the police.  Mind you, it was a very cold evening.  The police showed, exchanged the driver's information and went on his way.

I couldn't believe it, I was in shock from this weekend's events.  I know it happens but in my view, not really.  I guess I'll just have to accept this world has some crazy people in it or people who just don't care about hurting other people's feelings.

Gotta LOVE the Christmas spirit! Some people just don't get it. They do not want to be responsible for their own actions. It worries me that we are raising and entire generation that relies on drugs to make them happy or keep them calm or allows "some one" else to be to blame for their behavior.

You should have called that guys Mom!

A good-for-nothing scoundrel is a person who has a dishonest mouth. He winks his eye, makes a signal with his foot, and points with his fingers. He devises evil all the time with a twisted mind. He spreads conflict. That is why disaster will come on him suddenly. In a moment he will be crushed beyond recovery. I pray that the male driver will humble himself before God Almighty, and plead for mercy, and ask Christ into his heart. Thankfully, no one was hurt!

Some people just never change and are always acting like that. There will be no excuses for such behavior when each of us arrive at the judgment.
