Alan: I think it's like 20-30% up here in Des Moines. I've actually been to Lumpkin County, hiking the Appalachian trail. That's neat country there. Happy Holidays!
Alan, wow! That is shocking. Is it because Dahlonega is right by Lake Lanier and so many vacation homes are in foreclosure? I'll bet the investors are having a hey day if that's the case, scooping up great properties at unbelievable prices. My brother-in-law used to live in Dawsonville right on the lake. I lived in Atlanta 25 years - I know the area pretty well.
Hi Allen, thanks for sharing the figures, ours is in the 10 to 15% range.
Alan - WOW! That is a huge percentage of foreclosures! While Los Angeles & Ventura counties has a lot of foreclosures (I don't know the percentage), I seriously doubt it is as high as that. Probably around 50%.
