Riverside Christmas Parade was FANTASTIC!!

The Riverside Christmas Parade was absolutely fantastic this year. Each year there are more participants and more spectators!

In the show below you will find:

The Ladies of the Lake chapter of the Red Hat society
Skip and Colleen Warren (Golf Cart)
The Riverside Bank Float
The Huntsville Cruisers
Riverside United Methodist Church
We even had some motorcyclists roll with us!!
The Walker County Sheriffs Department, C.E.R.T and Citizens on Patrol each had a parade entry!
The McLeod Family came to see the parade and get their picture made with Santa!
Smokey the Bear was there!!
Our Sheriff (Clint McRae sat on Santa's lap!)
Cove Marina supplied a fishing boat for Santa to ride in!
Last but not least, Me, the unofficial photographer, with Brother Massey (Broyles Chapel)

I am thrilled to be able to say that I live in a town that has a "Christmas" parade and NOT a holiday parade! Merry Christmas from beautiful Riverside, Texas!!

You are really really lucky. In my hometown of Bethesda, MD and our larger city next door, Washington DC. there are holiday events only. SIGH! I suspect that everyone on my team feels the same way!

yeah, I just heard that the parade is over for the season too. Oh well... Did you hear that we (in MN) are getting yet another storm tomorrow? Another 5-9 inches. HA! And then snow again on Thursday. Pretty soon I'm gonna feel like the descriptions in Little House on the Prairie where the snow goes over their heads. LOL.
