I have been on vacation for two days and both days I met and talked to folks about real estate. Visiting Maui is always a good thing and once you're here you definitely have the urge to stay, it's easy to talk real estate.
Talking with local folks about their real estate market is exciting, most knew someone moving back to the mainland. All I could think about was how awesome the AR network was. In the few short days that our team has been active members, we have been introduced to agents all over the United States, Florida, Colorado, Texas and California and more.
The comments and greetings from agents all over the nation have been so awesome that you want to refer clients to the hard working realtors who are successful & working hard to be great realtors.
Last year in Maui I had dinner at Kobe's Japanese restaurant and was seated next to a realtor & her husband from California. We exchanged cards and I sent her a referral and she also sent me a referral.
What is very obvious is that everyone has thoughts on real estate and it's always worth asking forks what they think. We work very hard to meet with our clients and for most of us we love talking real estate. I enjoy hearing about other markets so that I can share the information with my clients and fellow realtors, even on vacation.
So when your thinking that you want to get away from it all, think again a client or agent may be sitting next to you at the beach!
Aloha!
I love going to Hawaii...that's awesome that you're getting some time away. Real estate is cool like that where everyone knows someone that's going to do something related to real estate...
