The Active Rain "Buyer Challenge" Deadline Is Up!

By
Education & Training with Retired Executive Director of Education at eXp Non-Licensed

The Active Rain Contest for the "Best" posts in the Buyer Challenge, has been extended until next Wednesday, September 19th, 2007 at 10:00pm EST.  In light of all three of the contests going on at the same time, the judges and creators wanted to give members more time to create and enter their posts.  We have some fantastic and very creative entries, but we don't have YOURS...YET!! :-)

Do you want to be featured?  Do you want to get an extra 1000 points?  Are you willing to spend 20-30 minutes to do so?  You will need to enter your posts by next Wednesday into this Group:  The Active Rain Buyer Challenge Contest.  If you have already created a post, and not added it to this group, please do, so it can be reviewed by the Active Rain judges.

For all the details regarding the "Buyers Challenge" contest, please see the Instructions Post and Details.  If you'd like to know more about the other contests going on, one of our faithful members did a post for you HERE

There will be three winners!  Each winner will get Featured on Active Rain, plus get 1,000 bonus points.  You'll also get some bonus points just for submitting your post!  In addition, there might also be a greater chance of getting some buyers who might read and be interested in your post!

IMPORTANT THINGS TO DO:

  1. Your post should be Professional Category, Visibility Public
  2. Must include the TAG: Buyer Challenge (how the judges will find your entry)
  3. the Title Should be:  Why You Should Purchase Your Next Home in (Your City)
  4. You must place your entry in the group  The Active Rain Buyer Challenge Group
IMPORTANT THINGS NOT TO DO:
  1. NO Wall of Words
  2. NO Poor Grammar
  3. NO Spelling Errors
  4. NO Visually Unattractive Posts

Here are some of the posts already entered, and are worthy of your time to read.  There are some great examples of what I think would really impress a client who reads them.  They say that practice makes perfect!  One thing I know for sure is, you can't win if you don't play!  Are you up for the "Buyer Challenge?"

We are looking for your entries with great anticipation, you now have until next week to get them in....so why are you still reading this post, you could have already been done entering YOURS!!

Good Luck to each of you, and enjoy!!

FYI: I just searched Google.com for "Buyer Challenge" and look what came up?!?  You might not want to miss this challenge!!

John - that sounds like the perfect reason for you to write a post, and enter the contest.  Don't miss the real value here, it's not what meets the eye!  I'm sure Hemet must be a great place to live, you live there don't you? Maybe a post on Why?  Affordability is always in the front of the minds of EVERY buyer!  Have fun with it and good luck!

Dave - I hope your comment brings it on home for those who not only have entered this contest, but for those who haven't as well.  I don't think it'll be over when the contest is over...if you know what I mean, and I know you do based on your comment here.  Thanks for sharing that bit of very valuable information!  :-)

Rick & Ines - Knock! Knock!  :-)

Congrats on your Google Status and position, good luck with the contest, and I hope you do get a knock on the door.  If not from Paris, then from another buyer who liked your post as much as google did....(which I have yet to read).  Guess you all know what I'll be doing all night tonight.  Better go get my glasses!!  LOL!  :-)

I saw John Occhi's cmment to this post and had to check out his profle to learn about Hemet.  I disagree - it looks like a great place to live, and would love to learn more.  I've had a ball reading about all these places and seeing the different styles of relo letters.  Great contest!  Thanks for extending the deadine - you made it possibe for me to participate.

Margaret - loved your post! You're right about Johns comment, I saw another member actually took advantage of the opportunity and did his post on Hemet!  This contest will do so much more than get folks some points on AR, hopefully people will get the "REAL" point of the contest!!

Brad, I actually took those "top three reasons" in my post and revised them slightly to create three separate blogs for my new local blogsite.  And I suspect my entry might become the new template for my relo replies.  It took a lot of time to do, but I'm glad I did it, points or not.

Margaret - your time invested will not go unwarranted.  What you put into your blog will come back to you 10-fold. You know this already.  Using templates will save you time and allow you to be more effective in your writing as opposed to creating new layouts.  I think you are very smart in doing it this way.  Good luck to you always, I'm glad you have gotten involved and see the REAL value of this contest and the positive results we hope it brings to you and your business.

Winners will be announced shortly, the judges are in deliberation and having a very difficult time due to the amount of participants and the quality of each and every contestants post!  Watch for the featured post and announcement of the winners coming soon!
