Some special people in MY 2010...

Wow...what a year!  I can't say its been entirely great, but I have had some great moments, and the fact that I am still here, plugging away in a business many like to say is dead...well, I feel pretty darn good about that!

If I am to be totally honest about my life and my business...which I strive to be, then I have an admission to make:  I don't always end up LOVING every person I work with.  Sometimes I'm glad to get to the closing table because I just don't have much more to give.  I know what I'm SUPPOSED to say.."Gee, I love everybody".  Come on...really?  But I AM thankful to everyone who makes the choice to work with me.  And some folks stick out in my mind from this past year...

Britney M:  You are one of my most favorite people ever!!  You and I spent MONTHS, almost years (lol) looking for that perfect house, only to face set back after set back.  Perseverance paid off and now you and Justin have your dream home, with a new puppy to boot!  Always smiling and always trusting of me...you are the definition of a glass half full girl.

Angela H:  Your luck has not been the best at all.  In fact, as we joked before...I wouldn't rush out to play the lottery, because based on how 2010 has treated you, I have my doubts as to your winning.  That being said...even in the face of such adversity, I have never met a stronger woman than you.  Your focus, even with bad things thrown at you left and right, has always been your three children...a true testament to what a wonderful mother you really are.  Your strength and ability to keep on plugging has both inspired me and left me in awe.  Life will someday smile on you again, because I've never met a woman who deserves it more!

Heather - my girl.  Not just a client but my best friend ever.  OK, maybe you didn't really have a CHOICE in picking me as your Realtor, but I still appreciate it so very much.  More than that though, is the fact that you have been there for me in my ups and downs of this business.  Listening to the things I could never tell anyone else.  Things no one else would ever understand anyways!  How could I ever repay you?  Being your friend till the day I die is a start.

Lynda C:  My Maryland friend.  You came to me with the dream of a new home, and only the recommendation of a friend that I was "worth my salt" so to speak.  In two hours looking at homes with you, I felt like I really gained a friend as well as a great client.  I appreciate your trust in me to handle all the details here in Ohio, and look forward to the day you finally move here for good.

Dan and Gidget:  I owe so much of my success to you two, for your referrals and your faith in me as an agent and as a friend.  Over the years, I have not only had the pleasure to work with you, but to also get to know and love other people in your family.  If I ever had to pick another family to grow up with, it would most assuredly be yours.  You are both just such wonderful people and parents.  And perhaps just as dysfunctional as I am, lol :) They don't make 'em like the both of you much anymore, and that is a true shame.

Tom and Lori:  Wow.  What a road we have traveled.  Finally we are approaching a closing, after many misses and close-calls.  By the luck of a simple phone call, I got the opportunity to meet the both of you.  Many hours spent looking at homes and lo and behold...You find the perfect house, and I find two friends who I really find such a pleasure to be around.  You two make me laugh, and make me want to be an even better agent, because I know how much this move means to you, and I will do everything in my power to make it happen.

There are many others, and if I don't mention you here, please don't think you haven't affected me and made my life richer for being a part of it, because you have.  I know real estate is a BUSINESS, but I also consider it a privilege.  I have the chance to meet so many different people and if I'm lucky enough, some of those people make a huge impact on my life.  Not in my bottom line, but in my heart.

Thank you to all.
