You should double the ingredients and invite a few friends over ( a bottle of wine per) to put this cake together! Whoooooie! And skip going to the bakery....FUN STUFF Anna!
Oh Anna, you made me giggle. And today, that was quite the chore. Thanks for the laugh. Have a wonderful Christmas.

That's some cake recipe! Reminds me of the evening many years ago when my brother and I decided to try our hands at making Irish Coffee--we couldn't quite get it right, so kept on experimenting. A favorite memory to laugh at over the years. Thanks for the laugh,
I don't think two bottles of wine is going to be enough. I'll bet your cat only gets caught up in this once, never again!
Here is a picture of the eclipse from Baltimore.

Lottie - oh no - Irish coffee is strong.....that must have been a wild night! I haven't had one of those in years.
Joetta - I suppose it would tetter on how many bakers in the kitchen.
Margaret - very cool. Did you stay up and see the total eclipse? We were socked in with clouds so no sight for us.
Renee - glad to make you smile over the holidays!
Dawn - ahhhh I can see we have a pro in the bunch!!
I have tried to bake this type of cake before. The process is similar Barbecued steaks, and pizza baking at 2am. I never spilled a drop of wine:)
