Connecting with Old Friends: One of the Greatest Gifts
This evening, an old friend called to say hello and wish us happy holidays. We've not seen this friend and his family for several years. And you know, they have always been in that category of friend who you could pick right up with again as if no time had gone by.
We talked for quite some time, shared some laughs, shared some memories, and shared some news. Better yet, it appears we may actually see these friends in the coming weeks. What a wonderful visit that will be.
It is truly a gift when you hear from someone who leaves a glow in your heart and a smile on your face.
Here's to friends new and old. You are all in my thoughts this holiday season.

Kathryn--The holidays are such a good time for getting caught with friends and family. A time to slow down and think about what is really important in our lives!
