I owe a very long overdue 'Thank You' to Julia Maher for inspiring me to join Active Rain. Julia Maher of Nestings 
provides award winning Home Staging and Model Home Design services to her clients in Fairfield and New Haven CT counties.
Julia gave a dynamic presentation during the 2008 Association of Design Education Annual Confernece where she shared the wonders of Active Rain.
Her enthusiasm was infectious. I was intrigued BUT the whole blogging thing didn't excite me all that much (which explains why it took me a while to heed her advice.) Truth be told - I was scared to death of it. I came up with every excuse imaginable to avoid it.
I was one of those who dipped my toe in the AR waters for a very long time. I got off to a slow start, but finally took the plunge and I'm sure glad I did. I have met so many wonderful people. I have learned so much. And I have had an awful lot of fun along the way!
Thank you Julia for opening my eyes to the wonders of Active Rain! I only wish I joined sooner.
This post is part of my holiday season Be Thankful Challenge (Not sure what day it is since I missed a few days).
