8 Comments on A Ride in the Rain -- Paying It Forward
How nice of you to provide such a good service for your client
Andy - And the lunch he provided was very nice too!
The little things count - what is "small" can amount to a very big thing! It's nice to read of your kindness - it really shows your character. Stay safe in the rain - I hear some is going to "trickle" Tucson way!
Cara - It is still raining as I write this....and more is one the way. I hope Tuscon gets some as we both live in the desert and rain is always welcome.
Norma, We have been pounded with rain here in San Jose as well. Some areas had as much as 7 inches of standing water. Picking up your 84 year young client was certainly the right thing to do. He is a gracious man … paying it forward by treating you to lunch. Despite the cold, wet rain … this is a heart-warming story.
Kathleen - He was a joy to spend the morning with and lunch was an unexpected treat.
Norma.....Excellent service and obviously much appreciated. It is the little things that often make the biggest difference. Getting lunch was also a very nice treat!
Making a small extra effort often pays unexpected dividends, Carra.
