Every now and then, something extraordinary comes along or happens in our world worth noting. Monday night (early Tuesday morning hours) saw a full lunar eclipse occur which this year coincides with the Winter Solstice – two occurrences which have not happened in concert in several hundred years. I have been looking forward to this, excited about piling out into the cold winter night to witness such a rare phenomenon.
I had the wrong day. I thought it was tonight – Tuesday. So, I totally missed it. I want a do-over. I feel screwed. I want to reach over and pick up my TiVo remote, and rewind back so that I can NOT miss it. It sucks to look forward to something so much, then miss is because you have your head up your…well, you just miss it. I mean, it’s not like I was busy and couldn’t fit it in…I was in bed asleep.
I want a do-over.
