Well gang, I couldn't hold out for the end... but I was up and taking photos until after 4 a.m. It was fantastic. Hope you enjoy these photos.

The last photo is a still taken from my video footage. The moon kept moving (obviously) and my little shoot the house tri-pod was not really up to snuff, so I spend a lot of time holding the camera and my video (although I will be keeping it) is not really what I had hoped it would be. But I hope you enjoyed these photos if you missed the event last night because of weather or sleep.

But with the next one in 2094 and the last one in 1638... it was a once in a lifetime event and I'm glad that I stayed up for most of it. And I'm also grateful that my sweet Donald got up with the dogs and closed the bedroom door and let me sleep in a bit.

Good morning, I got a good night's sleep last night.

Christie- I had some black photos too. My little sony video camera has great zoom though. Love that thing.

Lenn- thanks. And it as in the 30s at my house.

Carol- I think clouds were in for a LOT of the country... florida and texas looked clear on the map and I was lucky.

Mary-thanks. I am glad I stayed up and watched. But yesterday was LONG

Tammy - First and foremost, sorry to hear that your kids won't be with you on Christmas day but good to hear that your Christmas Eve will be spent with your darling Abigail. Life certainly changes but it's all good. Hopefully soon enough there will be some new little darlings to spend Christmas with, if you know what I mean. LOL

On another note, great pics too! Like Jane said, this week has been rather gloomy here in Los Angeles & Ventura counties, Christmas day turned out to be blue and sunny. A little chilly but hey the sun is shining and it's not rainy. What more could we want for Christmas.

Now, I need to get back to snuggling with hubby this wonderful Christmas morning and watch Miracle on 34th St. Merry Christmas Tammy and I hope you have a safe and sane New Years.
