Maine Association Of Realtors Meeting In Bar Harbor Concludes Today!

Maine has 4918 Realtors and a good parcel of them grouped together to learn, hob nob and network in Bar Harbor Maine September 11 thru the 13th. Topics affecting shoreland zoning, new laws, radon exposure, advertising guidelines and court rulings were a small part of ground coverage. Continuing credits for educational license requirements were available as well as GRI continuing programs for that designation as well. Motivational speakers, staying safe in your practice and how to deliver exceptional customer service all explored and discussed. How to reach the international market also batted around as an emerging group for Maine Realtors to add to their customer mix when advertising listings. Consideration of other cultures and customs a big part of getting your feet wet in the international arena. You have to know the folks you are trying to market too otherwise you can without knowing make some new enemies. Executive Director For MAR, Cindy Butts again recognized for her fine leadership skills and ability to find good folks to run the show in Augusta all year long behind the scenes making Maine a well known entity of Realtors involved in their communities and legislative process.
