Oh Where Was My Camera When I NEEDED It??

Oh, where was my camera when I needed it??  I almost always have it in my purse ready for all those chance sightings of something that I want to capture for a future blog post.  Usually my only problem is that I see things when I am driving - and then am either trying to drive and snap a photo simultaneously without crashing my car, or finding a place to pull over and get the shot a little more safely.

But driving home from Seattle last night, I saw a humdinger - and did not have my camera handy to capture it - rats, rats, rats!  I also still am not certain if it was a perfect occasion of one light burning out to create something awesome for the holiday season - or if it was on purpose (probably the more likely scenario).

So since I was cameraless and cannot show you what I saw - picture this:  A series of one story storage buildings - you know the type.  And the sign on top:  "TACOMA ELF STORAGE".  So, yes, it may have been a clever intention by the SELF storage place - or.....Santa found a great place for his elves to hang out until Christmas Eve.

What do you think?

Makes sense - even elves need a place to hang out!  :)

Thanks Craig!  Probably just as funny was the sight of me doing a double take, reaching for my camera & realizing that Noooooo - I didn't have it with me!

I think Santa must have come here early this year.  Maybe we have the most good girls and boys so he needed a place to store some extra elves just to make our toys :)
