Canadian Bank Prime rate is currently 3.00%.

TD Canada Trust is offering 2.85% APR on a 5 year closed variable rate mortgage.

The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) was up 15.55 points closing at 13,380.70.

Canadian dollar exchange rate rose today 32 basis points to 98.60 USD.
