Day Number 21 – Things seem to be winding down. However, people are still out looking at houses. Agents are e-mailing me with questions about my listings. Seems to be what I like to call a ‘flurry of activity’. Kind of like a snow flurry---a little bit to start with and then the STORM hits! I am expecting a full fledged storm come the New Year!
Today as with many days, I consulted with a few people who help me with my websites. We have been making changes that will hopefully help with our conversion rate. I find that I focused heavily on blogging this year and perhaps neglected my sites. More areas where I can improve my time management skills now and in the New Year!
My administrative assistant is MIA! Gone till January 4th so I find myself doing a few things she would normally be doing for a couple of closings we have scheduled before the end of the year.
Day Number 22 – Today I had a hair appointment and planned on finalizing my shopping. When I went out to get in my car, it was not there!!! My husband had taken it and did not leave me a key to his car. So in other words, I was stranded. Make that extremely upset and stranded. Back to my desk to cancel my hair appointment and work on more administrative work including e-mails and blogs.
Finally got a car around 4:00. Out to get a few groceries and back to house to cook. It is my son, Andrew’s birthday and we will have lots of company to help celebrate. Tomorrow is son Max’s birthday! End of year becomes a very busy time for us!!
Received word from buyer that they are ready to make offer on a property. Will be paying cash and want to close before end of year. Yikes! Keep repeating, ‘I know I can, I know I can, I know I can….’ I was half expecting this. Title company is prepared as well as everyone else!
