Canadian Bank Prime rate is currently 3.00%.

TD Canada Trust is offering 2.85% APR on a 5 year closed variable rate mortgage.

The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) was down 9.50 points closing at 13,371.20.

Canadian dollar exchange rate rose today 52 basis points to 99.12 USD.
