I made a discovery last night as we gathered for the annual Christmas eve party at my daughter-in-law's parents house. Much of the evening played like a movie I've seen before, and loved, with one major exception. My sweet little four year old Dylan entertained the group with an a capella performance, in the best Bobby Darin tradition, of "Splish Splash, I Was Taking A Bath." He had us roaring as he finished to thunderous applause. Who knew, dinner and a show. How lucky can a girl get.
My wish for everyone today is that they get to spend the day with people they love in a warm and nurturing environment. So, Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night day.
