We all knew these few days would be tough for marketing - and boy are they.

I did manage to do some very small things today - like Tweet and comment and correspond with one customer - but it wasn't easy because I spent almost the entire day in the kitchen.

I was a bit surprised by my email today. Just as the last few days, I've had time only to scroll through and delete as I checked to see if there was anything important - like a pesonal message from a friend or a client.I did save a few things and hope to go back and read them later. And I did take time to go to Let's Say Thanks to send a thank you card to someone in the military.

What startled me was to see how goofy some marketers are. I had at least a dozen messages today telling me I "Still had time" to order for Christmas delivery. I wonder how they planned to keep THAT promise? Now I wonder how many more days they'll keep sending those ads... After all, I did get messages in October telling me it was almost swim-suit season.

It's past midnight now, so today's the day. Merry Christmas to All!
