Thanks, mister, who ever you are, for blessing my sister!

My sister, who is a single mom, was shopping at the grocery yesterday for last minute Christmas food, and Santa came early to her.

She had some old gift cards and was swiping them, mainly to clear out the balance and dispose of them.  One worked, the other two, for some reason, did not.

She was getting out her bank debit card to finish paying (about $100) when the clerk said, "Never mind, ma'am, it's been taken care of."

She was puzzled, looked around and a kindly man was telling her to 'shhh.' He said to her that everyone needs a blessing now and then, and that he was doing it in the name of his Lord.

Thank you, sir, whoever you are.  I wish a Christmas blessing on you.  When you do something for one in my family, I consider you have done it for me.

Merry Christmas!

I love that story. Christmas frequently brings out our generous spirits, doesn't it?

Great story. I wonder where the "niceness" in people are the other times of the year.
