Palm Beach Gardens is called the golf capital of the world because of the high number of country club golfers in the area. But when the pros head home, they head to Jupiter, Jupiter Island and Tequesta. The latest pro to join us here is Rickie Fowler.
Fowler just bought a place in Jupiter on the Loxahatchee River with direct ocean access. When he puts his boat in the water and heads out the Jupiter Inlet, as he cruises past the Tequesta waterfront he will pass the homes of Steve Marino, Mark Calcavecchia, Camilo Villegas, Joe Namath and author/speaker John Maxwell.
When he hits the Intracoastal, if he turns left he will pass the homes of Jasper Parnevik, Tiger Woods, Greg Norman and Nick Price. Jack Nicklaus and his extended family still call North Palm Beach home. Jack's yacht sits across the water from where Tiger's 155 ft. yacht is moored and Briny Baird plays out of the Jack's "Bear's Club" in Jupiter.
