(not so) Speechless Sundae…

Yesterday, middle Tennesseans were treated to a rare "White Christmas". While we did not get hammered like many, it was kinda cool, looking at the delicate white blanket that covered the ground; making yesterday, Christmas, a good day to cop some "Z's" and get OD'd on the "Hallmark" channel.

We did get some additional "S" word late yesterday afternoon and into the evening. H-m-m-m-m, kinda enjoyed the down time, I just may dream of another "White Christmas" next year. Milk is not just the only white stuff that does a body good...

Mike,

My son down in Cleveland, TN said that he got about 6" of the white stuff.  I do like your photo but I am sure the frog has other thoughts.

I'm glad your enjoying the dusting of snow especially in time for Christmas.  We're waiting for the snow storm to land here in Maryland as it moves up the east coast.

Good Morning Michael, a little snow is wonderful, too much of it could be dangerous.  Isn't that just like with many other things in life?  Enjoy it while it lasts and hope you had a great Christmas!

Snow is one of my favorite things..................trust me, it's better to like it than hate it when you live in Ohio..............we get enough of it every winter.  Great photo of your White Christmas Michael.

Michael, I think it may be my Tennessee Mountain heritage but I LOVE snow.  Don't see it often but we're expecting it this afternoon.  I'm ready!

Happy day after!

16 - 20 inches of snow can take you from contemplative to cabin feaver in a very short time unless you like the snow!  Glad I'm not in MA today! Sorry Barbara.

Beautiful photo Michael, so serene.  I can here the waterfall as I look at it.  We were blessed Christmas Eve with very large fat beautiful flakes all day long.

Michael - we didn't get hammered, but it was nice to see a little snow for Christmas. I noticed that the entire southeast seems to have a blanket of snow, so travel is a challenge. So much for global warming.

We are getting hammered right now. Blizzard warning until 6 tomorrow evening. 12 -18 inches predicted. That's a little more snow than I care for all at once.
