Museum of Aviation, Robins AFB GA, 15th Annual Marathon
Sponsored by the Museum of Aviation and the Robins Pacers Running/Walking Club, the 15th Annual Museum of Aviation Foundation Marathon/Half-Marathon/5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, January 15th, on Robins Air Force Base.
All administrative functions (registration, awards, etc.) will take place at the Museum's Century of Flight Hangar. Picture ID is required to pickup race packets.
All 3 courses are USA Track and Field certified (Boston Marathon qualifier) with chip timing used for all races. Last years race had over 1,000 participants.
Start Times
- Marathon and Half-Marathon - 8:00am (6 hour cutoff)
- 5K Run/Walk - 8:15am
Entry Fee (postmarked by January 8th)
- Marathon - $45
- Half-Marathon - $35
- 5K Run/Walk - $20
Macon Track members receive $1 off pre-registration and groups of 10 or more receive $3 off each registration.
There is a $5 surcharge for registrations after January 8th (race day registration is from 6:30am-7:30am).
Awards Ceremony
- 5K Run/Walk - 9:30am
- Half-Marathon - 10:45am
- Marathon - 1:00pm
Cash Prizes (for overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd - Male and Female - Marathon, Half-Marathon and 5K!)
- First Place - $250
- Second Place - $150
- Third Place - $100
Note: Trophies are also awarded to the top 3 finishers in several catagories. See the Museum of Aviation website for specific details.
