Need your help in redesigning my website!

It is that time of the year to look at what you are doing and how can you improve it.

First tool of my business I am looking at is my websites. I use Real Pro Systems for my two websites, one is Platinum and one is gold in their series of websites. I am extremely happy with them, but how can I take their product to the next level.

NKYHomes.com, my premier website which is a Real Pro Systems Platinum site is my main focus right now. Real Pro Systems website has great SEO and the staff at Real Pro Systems is second to none, great to work with.

What I want to achieve is a better front page, what the consumer lands on. I am happy with everything else my website does. I want to make the consumer experience as easy as possible for looking for the information they desired, whether it homes for sale, community information, etc... I feel the Front Page needs to be clean and easy to read.

I have looked hard and search and have found two websites that I like. I would really like your personal opinion on both websites, what you like and what you don't. One is using video very much, one not as much, two different layouts. I appreciate your time and maybe the comments here will help you in your business for 2011.

Hi Mike, Thanks for featuring my website in your blog...I have to say I love Google Alerts! I am very impressed with the simplicity of the John C Jones website and their use of video is outstanding. His search feature is strong and I can't wait for the day when we have a true MLS IDX feed for agents in Ohio because I would utilize something similar. The thing we did this year with KnoxCountyOhio.com is that we added visual graphics to the page to put the basics on the main page right where the consumers would see them without having to dig through the site. If you highlight our buying section you will see lots of specialized listing searches already created. These have been some of our most widely used features both within the site and also from other websites that have featured or where we have featured our tag based listing search links. The website traffic on KnoxCountyOhio.com has increased by over 400% during the past 6 months so we know for sure that utilizing the tags based listings feature is very key to attracting new visitors.

Mike, I wanted to check in and see how you are doing with your new website update. I noticed that Brian Copeland created a website with Real Pro Systems that have a similar "search focus" as John C. Jones's site that you may want to check out as well.
