Great Blog, just curious, how are you handling the tax situation and high cost of home owners insurance?

Hi Nichole,

Thank you for your comment.

Luckily our taxes and insurance are still much lower then the coastal areas where allot of these people are coming from.  So fortunately there hasn't been too much complaining by home owners.  Even our Northerners who have no homestead don't seem to be complaining.  Funny thing the most complaining I've been hearing since the assessed taxes have gone out are the vacant land owners.  They loved hearing when the values sky rocketed and wanted to hold out to sell, now they're kicking themselves.  Greed is a bad thing it comes-back and gets you in the end.
