Speechless Sunday (almost!): Move on...
Hiway steathily stalks the birds from a distance, 'eyeing' each one of them as they flitter here and there through the trees to the ground and then back through the trees again! I obviously interrupted her adventure as she quickly turned toward the back yard, intent on her work, therefore ignoring me.
Okay, I got the message...I'm moving on!

Wanda, Hiway is so pretty. My 2 kitties love to look at outside from the window, too. They go nuts if they hear a dog barking in the neighborhood, haha.

You are right, Wanda. I think that animals, especially cats tolerate us humans. Enjoy! I would have a cat but Hubby wants a dog and we both like to travel. Compromise: we have numerous bird & squirrel feeders.

Mary, We have cats, dogs and pigs and need to plan well ahead of time to make arrangements for their care when we leave for a vacation or just a few days. Yours is a good compromise! We do enjoy them!

Mary, I have written quite a few in the past but not for a while but we did have beef for Christmas in honor of Miss Prissy and Bacon! They are quite content in their little cottage and now that the babies are gone are quietly enjoying each other's company!
How cute. I think it was a post with photo of the little pigs that I remember.
Do you breed, raise and sell the pigs? My brother's in-laws in west Texas breed pigs & sell a lot of them to 4-H kids. We saw one sow with 13 little piglets. A BIG WOW!

My husband gave me Miss Prissy, a pot bellied pig for my birthday a couple years ago and thought she was lonely and then brought Bacon home...we had no idea she was pregnant until her belly started dragging the ground! And then 7 babies!

My cat doesn't get in the window too often but I can always tell when she is watching the birds by a certain noise she makes. Hiway is very photogenic!
