I don't know if you guys have noticed, but what an awesome week we have had on ActiveRain. Man, I love this place! Here is a list of some of my favorite ActiveRain moments. And of course, my favorite picture-Craig Schiller.

We've had:

Scandal:

Politics:

Decision and Indecision:

Realtors writing about staging and Stagers writing about Real Estate:

NAR from New Orleans updates:

Consumer care and concern:

Veterans Day:

Carnival of Real Estate-coming and going:

Mortgage Folk battles and Blog Wars:

Consumer debates:

Technology:

System Failure:

So there you have it folks. Some of the posts that have brought me joy, frustration, confusion, pride and have made me think. All I can say is that if you are just posting and not reading you are missing out on some serious information here at ActiveRain.

Please accept my apologies for anyone I may have left out. There are way to many excellent posts for to include them all. Please fee free to link to your favorites in the comment section. Have a great week!!!

P.S. Please let me know if any of the links aren't working and I will fix them. Thanks. Broker Bryant signing off.

On of my favorites was by Mary McKnight...The Queen herself...

"WHAT MADONNA CAN TEACH YOU ABOUT BLOGGING"

This is an excellent post. As always (as is Mary's style) she taught us how to drive traffic to our Blogs...Zoom...Zoom!

TLW..."The Lovely Wife"...Driving The Blog...ROAR!

Thanks!   Since I was at the NAR convention I missed a bunch.  Please do it every week!  Ok...it is probably too much to ask but maybe you can have extra points or a special AR award?

It has been another interesting week here on ActiveRain.  Linking to all these articles was time consuming, Bryant.  There are a few I need to visit, so thanks for the hard work.

I'm wondering if the underlining will show up in my comment too.

hmmm. it looks like lychee is underlined, so I think it will.

Diversity of content is one of the big things that contributes to ActiveRain's quick growth. It was another interesting week on (in) the Rain.

One of my favorites of this past week was Mary McKnight's post, "Blogging Bootcamp, a 7 Day System to Boost Your Blog".

And a shameless plug for my own Veteran's Day post, "AMERICA-Land of the Free, Thanks to Our VETERANS".

Thanks for providing such a great list of posts!  Some I had caught, and others I missed and will make sure to check out.

Your summary is great.  I had ventured onto Bloodhound Blog upon suggestion from Mary McKnight's Blogging Bootcamp.  One of the first postings I came across was the "Candybag Volcano" and I was ascared!  It was my first venture into blogging outside of AR and I realized it can be a nasty blogworld out there- completely different from the camaraderie I am used to on AR.  I was very impressed and comforted to see BB and TLW calming everyone down with their professionalism, wisdom and compassion.

The blog and dialogue that ensued here on AR was infinitely more informative, thought-provoking and valuable than anywhere else and you all deserve much kudos for your input.

p.s.  124 comments and counting for Broker Bryant's above blog- is that a record?

It does not bother me at all that I had the number one post last week but did not get a gold star.  People read my post because they found it interesting which is why I wrote it.  The gold stars are for other people.

"The Lovely Gina"...Do we owe you money for that comment? :> It is not a record, but it should be. I hold the record, but I shouldn't. Why? Because my record is tainted with RainSpace...Some of my pals and I got carried away. We were trying to beat an existing record for my 2 month anniversary on AR...I am hanging my head in shame on that one...I now realize RainSpace should not be considered a record...TLW...ROAR!

Anyhow - great recap - it was a great active week.  LOVED your post with CandyBags - That was very enlightening.. he turned out to be a big teddy bear when us "Rainers" got to him.. He was a big mushy candy bag.. Great job!

Bryant - thanks for the nod. Although this wasn't one of my better or more preferred posts. It was just something that needed to be said. I'd rather be posting about 1st Time Home Buyers, or sharing about the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. But thanks for the mention!

Thanks for the recap Brian!  I was gone all last week and this has helped to whittle down my monumental reading list!

I promised my husband last week when we went to California that I wouldn't spend any time in the rain; just with my family.  Lucky for him it was sunny all week, but in my heart I was hoping for a rainstorm or two ;)

Boy am I angry with you. I need some sleep but I decided to check AR before I turned in; and I read your blog. Good heavens, I couldn't even get past Matt's blog with 85 comments. Please don't do this to me again. Sleep deprived and not enough time.

What an awesome post but this is what we now expect from you.

Wow, glad everyone enjoyed this. I know I missed a lot of deserving posts but there were so many. I was very busy this week and wasn't able to read as many as I like. Got to work every now and then. When I did get a chance to get to AR, I spent a lot of time with CandiBags on my commission post and then got swept up in Jeff Corbett's YSP battles. Between those 2 posts alone there were almost 250 comments! Truly amazing. In both cases the comments were better than the posts. So if you haven't read those two I highly suggest you pay a visit.

The blogging on AR has really stepped up a notch. You guys are getting very very good at this. I'm not sure how we are going to be able to keep up.

And for new posters, keep throwing them out there. I know it seems you may not be getting comments but you will. Consistency and participation is the name of the game. Comment and post, comment and post and then comment some more. We will notice. I look forward to another great week on AR!

Now I have to go to work again. Damn that work sure gets in the way!!

If you do this each week, you will be able to save me some time in reading through all the blogs.
