31 Days of December Challenge - Active Rain This is April Hayden-Munsons' blog - real estate agent in Brookfield, Wisconsin A group of us at Active Rain have taken up a challenge to do something in our business daily to keep December productive.
Days 22 through 24 On Wednesday I finished up my Christmas cards, popped by the post office to pick up some stamps and sent the cards on their way. I am hoping they all get to their destination in 2 days! I followed up on the offer I wrote earlier in the week on the REO property. The listing agent hasn't heard anything and says he doesn't expect to before the holiday. These banks SAY they want to unload the foreclosure properties - they are talking the talk but not walking the walk. How long do they think buyers will just wait around for their anwer? With how difficult it is to put a good buyer on paper these days I think the banks should be happy they are getting an offer. Along with that they should treat the buyer like a PERSON. NOT A FILE! OR A NUMBER! Ok, enough about that issue. On Thursday I called back my buyers that I am working with on several properties in Brookfield, West Allis and Elm Grove. The buyers that put the offer in on the REO property are ready to find another home, since they haven't heard from the bank on their offer. So out we go to a few more homes.... Day 24 - Christmas Eve. The only work I did on this day is to follow up with email and phone calls I received. I am getting ready for Christ's Birthday!
