Day number 24 and to many of us…..Christmas Eve! Even today, business
had to come first. I have a client newly divorced buying a house for the first time on her own, BUT with the help of brother out in California. He wants her to ask for everything on the inspections report including changing out the spindles on the stairway so that they will be closer together meeting today’s code. My fear is that the sellers will agree!! I think I have brother convinced to be reasonable.
I also explained to another client how money is wired. This is a new concept for many older buyers who once brought personal checks to closing.
Finished the day with the family. Dinner together and then grandchildren opening gifts. This is the only day of the year they actually ask to go to bed early---so that Santa can come!
Day number 25 – Christmas Day. I will confess…..did not touch my computer. I was pleasantly surprised that two different clients texted, ‘Merry Christmas’. Made me smile and made me feel loved.
